Visit Okeeheelee County Park just a 10-minute drive east of FRC on Forest Hill Blvd. The park is excellent for running, rollerblading, biking, walking, or a picnic. There is also a county golf course there. On the weekend, kayaks, canoes, and paddleboats can be rented. From FRC go right on Forest Hill Blvd, you will cross Route 441, then the road crosses over the Florida Turnpike. After you cross the Florida Turnpike turn left at the first set of lights. The entrance to the park is on your left.

The Wellington Aquatic Center; located next to the FRC boathouse consists of a state of the art Olympic size pool designed to meet competitive standards, including electronic touch pads connecting to a scoreboard. The complex also features a 10,000 square foot building with administrative offices, concession stands, showers, rest rooms, lockers and classrooms for first aid, CPR, and lifeguard courses.

Wellington's Tennis Center celebrated its Grand Opening on June 9, 2015. The 4,506 square foot facility features 21 self-irrigated Har-Tru® clay courts, a canvas covered roof-top balcony, and a pro-shop. Nine Tennis Professionals are available on staff offering private and group lessons.

The Village of Wellington Park has good areas for running and biking. There is also a “Peaceful Waters” bird watching boardwalk in the park. The park is located on Pierson Road, about 5 minutes from FRC. From FRC turn right onto Southshore Blvd. in aprox. 2 miles turn left on Pierson Rd. The park is past the equestrian center and will be on your right.
